| Abstract | It is pointed out toward an overlooked identity in Number Theory. Using the observed identity, a new result in Number Theory is obtained, and a new proof of a previously known result is given. Educational aspects are also discussed, pointing toward possible explanation why the observed identity, which looks trivial once observed, has not been pointed out so far. |
